Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped bacon, garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently.
- Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape them into patties. Press slightly flat.
Cooking
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil it to prevent sticking.
- Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar on each patty and cover until melted.
- Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in the pan.
Assembly
- Assemble the burgers: bottom bun → lettuce → patty → top bun.
Serving
- Serve immediately with a generous dollop of ranch or BBQ sauce and enjoy hot!
Notes
Keep the cooked patties in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container. Frozen patties can be stored for up to 3 months. When reheating, use a skillet or microwave until warmed through.
