Ingredients

Burger Mixture
  • 1.5 lb ground chuck Use lean ground chuck for the best flavor.
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix Store-bought or homemade.
  • ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon Reserve some for topping if desired.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to swap with pepper jack for a spicy kick.
Toppings and Buns
  • Hamburger buns Toast for extra crunch.
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Mustard and mayo For topping.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 6 hamburger patties, ensuring they are of even size and create a small dimple in the center of each patty.
Cooking
  1. Grill the patties to your desired doneness: Medium-rare (130-135°F), Medium (140-145°F), Well-done (160°F).
Serving
  1. Serve on hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo. Toast the buns for extra crunch if desired.

Notes

For best results, mix ingredients thoroughly and don't skip the dimple in the patties to avoid puffing. Keep leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
